Guide To A Moroccan Bedroom
Updated: Jul 28, 2021

1. Choose neutral base for walls and floors.
I picked snowy white walls and beautiful oak flooring with a light brushed texture.
2. Elevate a room with an oriental carpet and pillows.
To elevate the room with color I choose oriental carpet in lilac.

3. Mix and match patterns of textiles.
Don't be afraid to play with patterns, scale, color. I have chosen lilac, grey, blue, beige to brighten neutral walls.
4. Add contrasting furniture pieces.
I added chairs and coffee table in dark wood to create a volume and elevate lilac and grey shades.
5. Add oriental light, mirror or accessories.
Moroccan interior are all about relax feeling. So dimmed light is must! I used a canopy bed with Moroccan styled brushed glass scones on the sides. They made this bedroom look original and romantic. Lilac silver bedside tables by Atelier Purcell added to a room a luxury five star feeling.
6. More furniture to sit and relax
Add an extra sitting place if you have a space. I love creating corners for reading or having a cup of tea before going to sleep. Comfortable, relaxing and calming feeling for a better sleep. What can be better?
